Dr. Sadık Barış Adıgüzel

A family physician striving to be a "healer"

I am a family physician. At Antalya Training and Research Hospital I look after primary-care patients, manage chronic disease, and practice preventive medicine. My clinical path also includes the emergency department, the 112 emergency command center, and residency in neurosurgery.

Seeing the daily challenges and needs at the clinic, I try to build open-access guides, educational sites, and decision-support tools to make life a little easier for my colleagues and patients. A practical decision guide for on-call residents during my pediatrics rotation, an NST teaching module for the OB-GYN rotation, a caregiver-burden platform for palliative care, a residency placement (DHY) simulator, and a geriatric frailty screening tool are a few of them.

The goal is simple: take a need I felt as a physician and turn it into something a colleague can use on the next shift. AI and modern web tooling are the kitchen that makes this fast — patients and clinicians stay at the center.
